Halloween weekend #2

So yesterday I posted about my costume and halloween in Boston. But todays post is about what happened on our Saturdays trip to NY. It was my first trip to New York and it did not start out very good at all. Normally the bus ride up is suppose to be about 4.5 to 5 hours but because of the freak October snow storm this trip took 14.5 hours. Thats a 10 hour difference!!! By the time we got to New York it was 4:30am so we went straight to the hotel to sleep. However, when we got to the hotel we find out that we booked it on the 30th instead of the 29th oops. So we had to pay double the price to switch it to that night because it was 4am and nowhere else was available. Anyway the next morning came and we set out for the day. We went to the most amazing and cheap brunch I have ever been to! Seriously the food was sooooo good and the mimosas and bloody mary's were refilled every 5mins for free! The place was in SoHo called Essex everyone going to NY or are already there should check this place out ASAP!! After brunch we walked everywhere and master the subway system it was easy once you knew where you were. We went to Central Park, Saint Marks (the best vintage shopping is there), Time Square, Broadway, SoHo, NoHo, and finally Brooklyn to meet a friend (I am pretty sure we went to one other place but I can't remember where it was). Keep in mind this was all between noon and 10pm so that was a lot of sight seeing in one day. In Brooklyn we went to visit our friend Mike who works in this great pizza joint (it was written up in a magazine saying it was the best pizza in brooklyn) called Robert'a Pizza. then the bad parts came a callin'. We missed the last bus to Boston so we stayed in Penn Station until 6:20 on Monday morning. the train hit a deer on the way into Boston making it super late and i had to go to work as soon as I got into Boston. Lets just say Monday was the worst day ever! (oh and not to mention I had to go to school that day to ugh!) Wow this was a long explanation but now I am going to overload you with picture haha enjoy.
