One Day

I just got finished watching this fantastic movie One Day. I love Anne Hathaway movies even her cheesy ones. But this one has to be one of her best movies yet even if her British accent isn't 100% believable. It actually made me cry and laugh and wish that i had a guy best friend that wasn't gay. The movie was a combination of The Notebook and Atonement the style felt more like a period film then one that was placed in the last 10 years. And i loved that it made the move feel more emotional and real. I recommend it if you want a good old fashion cry but in a good way if that's possible. the ladies will get where I'm coming from. Here is a clip of the trailer so you can see for yourself but even that is just not enough the movie is so much more then what the clip shows.

Tattoo Monday: Movies

I am a huge fan of movie! So I thought it would be a fun to do a post about movie themed tattoos. I would get one myself for the simple reason how can you choose! I would be cover from the top of my head down to my toes if I did my favorite movies haha. I can't just pick one but I love looking at them anyway :)

Lorena's last Night

I'm sad that it was Lorena's last night here in Boston; :( But I think we did a bang up just last night for her far well day. After i got out of work we took the train to meet my fiend Whitney (heehee she's going to hate me but I am putting a picture of her on here. ) and heading off the the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art I am pretty sure thats what ICA stands for) because it free on Thursdays yay! After we got out we (meaning I) was hungry so we decided to go to this yummy seafood place called the barking crab. Finally to cap off the night we went to the movies and watched Horrible Bosses. It was the funniest movie I laughed so hard that my eyes started to water. I highly recommend it!!!!! It was pretty much a perfect summer night and I am going to miss Lorena so much!

This has to be the coolest room in the ICA the window tilts forward and it feels like you are going to fall into the water if you stand to close. Awesome!

I had the best Fish and Chips at the barking crab. It was the closest to English fish and chips that I have ever had. So good!

Movies of the week

Well this weekend was a mix of things from great to mellow to debbie downer. The downer part was just me thinking way to hard on things that can't be changed right now but there is always later. You have to think of the glass half full right? There are things out there that could be a lot worse then whats happening to me (in my head) right now. Ah that feels better :) So anyway the good parts were awesome. a friend is coming to stay with me on wednesday for a week and a half yay. So to get ready I looked at some old pictures of us and it made me laugh so hard at some of the wacky things we did. (I am not sharing those picture for one do you remember your first year of college ;) and second I didn't scan any on my computer). Another good thing is I just made plans for the next craft night with the girls yay number two! So I have been watching a bunch of sad movies because I am an emotional cutter and need to watch something sad when i'm sad. i should just watch a comedy or something but no I'm a weirdo. But there good sad movies so that counts right? Anyway the movies that I watched were...

1) My Girl..This movie makes me cry so much but its the cutest movie

2)Benny and Joon... So okay this movie is not so much sad as freaking the cutest movie in the whole world! And the young jonny depp is not bad either!

3)And another movie that makes me cry and this one is strange but Uptown Girl makes me cry like a baby near the end. Not sure why its not even that sad well it is but not that muh. It could also have been due to the fact i wasn't in the best mood when I started watching it. 

4) The last movie for the weekend was something to make me feel better and not so sad but a strangely upliftin movie. haha okay maybe not uplifting but my life could be worse. The movie I watched was called Dangerous Beauty. Warning this is not for kids! It's about the courtesans in Venice. A beautifully done movie. 

Haha okay these are probably not the worst movies i could watch on my blah days but they work for me. Or I could have just popped in Boondock Saints and been fine. That is my favorite movie of all time!

Masquerade

I am not sure what brought this post on except me and my friend where talking about what we want to do for this halloween. We are major halloween people it's my favorite holiday! We pretty much plan our costume all year and change our minds about a million and one times but it so much fun! But it's really only about 3 months away people. Anyway I have been wanting to go to a masquerade ball for a very long time now. We found a couple that are being hosted in Salem but look kind of cheesy we want one that is stunning. Pretty much like the exact one from the movie Marie Antoinette (the Kristen Dunst version)!

5 things I am happy about :)

So the last 24 hours has been a swift kick in the gut. I am sad that no one commented on the give away there is still time but I'm not holding by breath. Life goes on and better things come along. So today I thought I would just post about my favorite things in my life at the moment.

#1) I am getting a Kindle today and I'm super excited I needed one bad I am a really big reader. I'm currently reading two books at the same time :) One before bed and another for the train ride to and from work.

I got it from Amazon they are having a sale!

#2) I found out that i was carrying around a lucky coin. Really it says "may good luck always accompany the bearer". Ha I thought it was so cute i am now going to carry it around with me see if my luck changes. 

#3) Violent movies are the best when all you want to do is punch someone :) i had one of those day and I felt like punching myself for being an idiot. It was one of those moment when I shouldn't have said something when i did oops. but instead of acting out this violent tendency i watched The Fighter with Marky Mark (Mark Wahlberg). It also kind of had me think of getting back into kickboxing.

                                    

#4) Know that my daddy passed his test to get his aircraft mechanic license yay daddy! We are all very proud of you!!!

#5) And last but not least I am very happy for all my friends and family they are the best even when I don't like you all that much haha just kidding. (no picture for this one that would just bog down your computers mine is already running slow with just these) 

But that is what i am happy for right now and the last one forever.  Keep on keeping on (heehee reference to the movie Joe Dirt anyone see it so funny)

Limitless

I just watched limitless last night and it was better then i thought it would be. And a huge FYI Bradley Cooper needs to stick with his short haircut wow he looked a hot mess at the beginning of the movie. But the plot has a couple of really good twists in it I was entertained pretty much trough the whole thing. I recommend that you should see it. Heres a trailer for those of you who have no idea what I am talking about...

Harry Potter

So me and my little brother (keep in mind he's 6'1" so not so little haha) went to go see the final harry Potter last night well this morning at 3:10am! Needless to say i am falling asleep while I type this right now.  :/  But I was so not disappointed we watched in in Imax 3D and it was freaking unbelievable. I think from now on every movie thats in 3D need to watch in the Imax theaters! It was wayyyyy better then just the regular 3D it gets right up in your face I love it!!!!! Anyway I thought I would post the trailer just to entice you to go and see it heehee. Has anyone else seen it yet? Did you like the ending?

p.s There was some moments there that i almost started to cry in the theater. :o)

Transformers 3

I went to go see transformers 3 with my brother and it was pretty awesome! I really enjoy 3D movies they are so much fun! Did anyone else see a good movie this weekend??

I thought that the new girl in the movie was pretty good but she really didn't do that much acting she was modeling more then anything. But i didn't really go for her i'm more of a Shia LeBeouf fan myself. Have a great fourth of July!!

Sunday not so fun day :(

I am sick yet again. I really need to take better care of myself oh well. This weekend has been pretty boring due to the fact i have been heavily medicated and in bed. But i have been watching some good movies and some Katy Perry music video (shes my favorite!!! I may have a huge girl crush on her. Can we be friend Katy??? lol) Anyway I thought I would post on the movies i have watch this weekend and my favorite Kate Perry song. 

 

Kate Perry's "Fireworks" Such a beautiful and moving song! I don't even listen to music either ever!

I watched "No Strings Attached" it was hilarious!! Best girl quote ever for her time of the month is "it's like a crime scene in my pants" hahaha you have to see it the girl says it much more funny then me of course. But it really was the funniest movie. 

I didn't think this was going to be any good but i was pleasantly surprised by this flick.

Oh and I have been prepping for a really fun DIY that's going to happen this Wednesday with a bunch people. (I will be posting about that on Thursday i think) Anyway i hope everyone had a fun weekend and have a great Sunday!

Movies of the week

So I am a fanatic movie lover and i will watch pretty much anything that catches my fancy. But i have to say my favorite movies to watch on a slow Sunday afternoon are....
1)

the sweetest and funniest movie i have ever seen...also Johnny Depp is beautiful in this movie all young and hot ;)

2)

I have always wanted to be placed in that time...but bad part is I would soooo not be excepted there. Plus I can't live with out a shower and electricity!

3)

This is a spoof on pride and prejudice and it's helariouse!! I am in love with this movie!

4)

I love this movie!! I actually laugh out loud (more then other times; for people that don't know me i laugh out loud at everything) 

5)

And if you want to cry for about a week watch this movie. I seriously cried like I was an infant wanting a bottle. I still cry when i see it and i know what's going to happen at the end. 

6)

I was really surprised with this movie...NOT for kids! that little girls was like a freaking killer monkey insane! but for the adults i would watch it. It reminds me of smoking aces a little. 

So those are the five movies that I would watch this Sunday...totally all in a row all Sunday! i love movie days.
